Earth Day Walk for Students, Staff and Faculty, Saturday, April 22
Join Woodbridge English Professor Indigo Eriksen and ENG 112 student Augustine Appiahene Gyamfi for a 3-4 mile walk in Prince William Forest Park on Earth Day, April 22.
We’ll meet in front of the Seefeldt Building on the Woodbridge Campus (WS) at 12 p.m. and return to campus by 4 p.m. We have room for ten people in the College van, or you can follow us to the park. If you would prefer to meet us at PWFP, please gather in front of the PWFP Visitor Center, 18100 Park Headquarters Road, Triangle, Va., by 12.30 p.m. Plan for a moderate, beautiful two-hour walk through the woods and along a river. If you drive yourself, plan to pay the $20 entrance fee unless you have a park pass. For more information, visit the PWFP website.
To RSVP, interested students, staff and faculty should email Indigo Eriksen, IEriksen@nvcc.edu by 5 p.m., Thursday, April 20.
Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes and to bring plenty of water.
