Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Seasons, Tomorrow
Do you suffer from spring allergies? Ever wonder why it’s harder to sleep this time of the year? Then come to the AAPI Intercultural Center’s presentation on Chinese medicine, hosted by NOVA’s Contemplative Center, Tomorrow, April 14, from 11 a.m. to noon for faculty and staff.
Dr. Mei Lan Frame will offer a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) view of what “holistic” health looks like, talk about the effects of seasonal change on our health, and offer a TCM-based dietary guide on eating for the seasons. Come sample herbal teas and Chinese porridge, discover foods that “cool” or “heat” your body, and learn tips for better health and energy!
Please RSVP for the event with Heather Moser at hmoser@nvcc.edu.
