Join Professor Robert Anderson’s ADJ-163, Crime Analysis and Intelligence course and learn from a subject-matter expert about the rising threat of “Sextortion” and how Social Media plays a role in crimes against children on the Internet. Anderson invites you to a special class with Guest Lecturer Angelie Donzanti, senior analyst with the San Jose (Cal.) Police Department, who will discuss Sextortion and Social Media. This critically important event will be held on Monday, May 1, from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Angelie Donzanti, M.A., M.B.A., is a senior analyst for the San José Police Department’s Sexual Assault Investigations Unit (SAIU) and Special Victims Unit (SVU). Angelie uses her education, skills and experience to disrupt the lucrative industry of sexual exploitation. She is a part of the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (SVICAC) and Human Trafficking Detail. Angelie  specializes in the application and use of Social Network Analysis to investigate social and financial structures of human trafficking and terrorist networks by modeling, visualization and analyzing  interactions between individuals and criminal organizations.
