Ana Hoover Selected as Finalist in Zaentz Innovation Challenge at Harvard
Ana Hoover, early childhood instructor at the Alexandria Campus, is part of a team that has been selected as a finalist in the Zaentz Innovation Challenge at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Hoover is joined with teammates Jill Aviles from McFarren Aviles Consulting and Sallyann Bergh from Fairfax Futures in sharing their idea: Creating Synergy through Peer Mentoring.
The event was held on Thursday, April 27, and a panel of judges and a live audience evaluated the pitches to determine the challenge winners. Audience members had the opportunity to:
- Experience multimedia pitches from selected finalists
- Vote on their favorite three-minute pitches to decide the Audience Choice prize of $5,000!
- Hear from a panel of judges, who are experts in areas such as early childhood practice, research, policy and business
Congratulations to Dr. Hoover and her team for their selection as a finalist.
