New NOVA IT Support Portal
To improve the efficiency of NOVA’s IT service offerings, community members will soon have access to our new IT ticketing and support portal.
This new portal will provide the following enhancements to the user experience:
- a simplified IT ticketing submission process, via a simple-to-use web-based form
- a service catalog, which will contain standardized descriptions of commonly requested offerings with the ability to search for and submit a support request directly from each service profile
- a knowledge base, that will provide a single repository of available self-help articles, how-to-guides and answers to common questions
The target date for the roll-out for this service is June 2023. Once available, users will be able to navigate to this new portal via a link on the existing IT Help Desk website found at: https://www.nvcc.edu/ithd/.
The IT Help Desk is constantly striving to improve our service to you! More details regarding the roll-out of the new portal, Getting Started guides and the user experience will be provided in the coming weeks.
