Carry the Spirit of ‘Earth Month’ into May and Beyond. Join the Road Clean-up Initiative and More

Your Employee Wellness and Wellbeing Office invites you to join the Manassas Campus math faculty and Math Club for their VDOT Adopt a Highway Road Cleanup. All members of the NOVA community are welcome to volunteer.

Join us on Friday, May 5, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Manassas Campus (Trailside Building). If you would like to volunteer, please register here by May 4. 

Volunteering for Earth Month helps the planet and can improve your wellbeing. So carry the Spirit of Earth Month into May and Beyond.

Interested in learning and doing more? 

• Watch Carbon Nation, the movie that was shown during NOVA’s 2023 Green Festival
• Engage in the efforts of the environmental awareness clubs on our campuses. 
• Help out during environmental events.
• Support energy efficiency and conservation efforts (i.e., turning off lights, limiting paper usage, etc.).
• Participate in clean-ups and tree, shrub and perennial planting events.
• Help pick up trash on campus,  at a local park and/ or in your local neighborhood.
• Reuse, Reduce, Recycle.
