Virginia Credit Union. Surviving in Today’s Economy. In times of economic uncertainty, focus on what you can control. These upcoming webinars will share tips on increasing your value in the workplace, cutting expenses, boosting savings and reducing debt. Virginia Retirement System (VRS). We never know what tomorrow may bring. Fortunately there are tools individuals can use to prepare and plan for the unexpected. Take the Preparing an Estate Plan course in myVRS Financial Wellness to learn about common estate planning documents and how they can help provide peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Virginia Department of Treasury (TRS). Searching for your missing money is now easier than ever! Our new, improved website is more intuitive and also offers a secure document upload feature, making claiming your funds quicker than ever before. Unclaimed property can include dormant bank accounts, uncashed checks, stocks and dividends, insurance proceeds, refunds and more. Employee Assistance Program (EAP). All health plans offered to state employees and their dependents have employee assistance programs (EAPs). Included are up to four sessions at no charge for such services as mental health, alcohol or drug abuse assessment, child or elder care, financial counseling, grief counseling and legal services such as estate planning. Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. State employees may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Keep reading to see whether you might qualify. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer. Virginia State Employee Loan Program. Due to the success of the Employee Financial Wellness Program, the Virginia State Employee Loan Program or VSELP will remain active throughout the calendar year, but will be dissolved thereafter. Stay tuned for more information throughout the year.

Guaranteed Rate Mortgage Webinar (Recording). Reps will provide an introduction to Guaranteed Rate, a mortgage market update, 1st time home buyer information, qualifications/product information and learn more about benefits of refinancing.
