A Review of the NOVA Student Code of Conduct
The Student Code of Conduct is an official document that sets the expectations concerning the actions of students. The Student Code of Conduct prescribes behavior that is conducive to a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes teaching, learning, and student success. The Student Code of Conduct is the document that guides the reporting, sanctioning, and resolution of cases that are brought to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR) at NOVA.
The Student Code of Conduct is a comprehensive document. It describes who qualifies as a member of the college community, and it gives guidance on student responsibilities at NOVA. One of the most notable things contained in the Student Code of Conduct is a thorough outline detailing the rights of students. The Student Code of Conduct is a resource that all members of the NOVA community can use to sustain the NOVA core values of Integrity, Community, Civility, Accountability, and Academic Integrity.
