Financial Stability and Advocacy Hosting Two Resource Workshops Beginning Today at 2
As the Financial Stability and Advocacy program continues to meet the needs of our students by getting them connected to helpful resources, they will be hosting two virtual workshops this week. On Tuesday, the Health Insurance Literacy workshop will provide information on affordable health insurance, available benefits, and how to apply; and on Wednesday is a SNAP workshop, and participants will learn about affordable food access, how to apply, and other affordable community resources that are available. Both workshops will be held via Zoom, and all are welcome to log on and learn more.

SNAP Workshop: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

Need assistance buying food? The SNAP program provides help to supplement a family’s food budget so they can purchase food and move towards self-sufficiency. At this virtual workshop, a SNAP representative will speak about the various programs and benefits available, and how to apply.
