ACE Conference Date Change, Now Oct. 13!

July 27, 2023 / Events

As we’re getting ready for fall, we’re gearing up for the ACE Conference, now scheduled for Friday, October 13. Please complete the Interest Survey by close of business Friday, August 4, to let us know what you would like to see, hear or learn at ACE.

The ACE planning committee is looking forward to our annual ACE (Applauding Classified Staff) Conference to be held on Friday October 13 (note new date) at the Richard J. Ernst Community Cultural Center (CE) at the Annandale Campus. We invite you to complete the 3- to 5-minute Interest Survey to share what topics you think would be useful, what you would like to learn more about and what would make us better together. We appreciate your taking the time to participate in the survey and look forward to another successful conference.

The ACE Conference was launched in October 2017 in response to a group of employees who advocated for a dedicated professional development day for classified employees. The ACE Conference is designed to bring together classified employees from across the college to engage in professional learning and development through the exchange of ideas, resources, and experiences. This all-day event aims to empower and support your professional development journey by offering a diverse range of sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Stay tuned for additional details regarding registration, session offerings and other important updates. We encourage all classified employees to take advantage of this opportunity and invest in their professional development.

If you have any questions about this event, please don’t hesitate to email classifiedday@nvcc.edu and we will respond to your inquiry.
