Final Day: Share Your “Sense of Belonging” at NOVA for Convocation Video, Today at 11, LO

July 27, 2023 / Countdown to Convocation

This year’s convocation theme is “Sense of Belonging.” Belonging is that feeling of connectedness to a group or community; a sense that you are a part of something. A sense of belonging is not only important for student success, but for employee success as well.

As we gear up to begin the new academic year, and as we celebrate that at our fall convocation (August 16), we want to hear from faculty and staff about their experiences at NOVA and their feeling of belonging here. We are seeking enthusiastic faculty and staff to share their reflections about belonging at NOVA.

The Moon Bounce Media team has been visiting campuses this week to capture brief interviews with staff and faculty who would like to offer their reflections on their sense of belonging at NOVA. These reflections will be a part of the convocation video presentation. Today is the final day. If you’re near Loudoun Campus, today from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., sign up using this google form. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and you must have an appointment.

We want to hear from you as we celebrate the start of the 2023-2024 school year!
