Info Sessions for Fall CLRI In August

August 10, 2023 / Tech Notes & Training

The Career and Leadership Readiness Institute (CLRI) will kick-off again this fall to equip NOVA students with premier career skills.

CLRI is FREE and provides students the opportunity to become more competitive job candidates. NOVA IET students earn priority consideration for upcoming IET internships and some CLRI grads have landed internship and job offers from tech industry partners directly through the program.

During CLRI students attend workshops twice a week for one hour. The workshops include topics like: Building Your Personal Brand, Technical Resume and Interview Preparation, Mock Interviews, Networking, Effective Communication Skills, Government Vetting and Clearances, Accountability and Professionalism, Leadership Skills for Success, and more! Workshops are led by industry leaders and subject matter experts in these areas. All students are welcome to attend any workshop.

CLRI will officially kick-off in-person in September, but students can register for virtual information sessions in August.

  • Tuesday, August 15, 4 p.m.
  • Friday, August 18, 12 p.m.
