Drs. Cheri Spiegel and Paul Fitzgerald Featured on Faculty Factory Podcast
This summer, NOVA Professors Dr. Cheri Lemieux Spiegel and Dr. Paul Fitzgerald, who also serve as the co-coordinators of the Annandale Center for Contemplative Practice, were featured on the Faculty Factory podcast, hosted by Kimberly Skarupski, PhD, MPH of Johns Hopkins University. As guests on the episode, “Lessons in Nonviolent Communication with Drs. Cheri Lemieux Spiegel and Paul Fitzgerald,” Cheri and Paul spoke on the framework of non-violent communication, and how we, at an institution of higher education, can implement the framework as we live and work in community with our students and colleagues. If you would like to listen to this episode and hear about the ongoing work that Cheri and Paul are doing at NOVA, please click the link and see what you think!
As described on the podcast webpage, “The Faculty Factory Podcast came from a desire to communicate faculty-development-specific information in a modern and intimate way. This website serves as a central location for: highly-valued faculty affairs and faculty development (FAD) content, including conversations with faculty experts in academic medicine career development and leadership; a bibliography of FAD scholarship; and the websites for every FAD office in all North American medical schools.”
