Dr. Christine Schull to Discuss Collaborative Authoring Circles in Sept. 22 Webinar
As part of our on-going support for NOVA faculty who are teaching hybrid and online courses, NOVA Online is offering a series of college-wide webinars featuring amazing faculty colleagues to promote best practices in hybrid and online teaching each semester. These webinars intend to build a community of learning and collaboration, foster a growth mindset, and refine teaching practices as reflective educators.
The upcoming webinar will be on Friday, September 22 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Dr. Christine Schull from NOVA’s Alexandria Campus will present Collaborative Authoring Circles: An OER Text Development Process. Online and hybrid courses can easily incorporate OER to expand access to learning, increase students’ interaction with course content and make a positive impact on students in education. If you are interested in creating your own OER, join Dr. Schull and her collaborator in co-authoring an OER textbook to learn more!
