Registration Now Open for 2023 ACE Conference, Oct. 13

It’s time to register for the annual ACE Conference (Classified Professional Development Day)!  We would like to emphasize the importance of your participation to this event as it will offer a unique opportunity for professional growth, networking and development.

Time: Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. (refreshments will be available). Conference will start at 9 a.m. sharp.
Where: Annandale Campus (CE Building

The conference this year will continue our Fall 2023 College Convocation theme, Sense of Belonging. The Conference Planning Committee is preparing an all-day, in-person conference with a wide range of topics that will strengthen our classified staff’s professional skills. More details on the enriching professional development breakout sessions will be provided. The sessions will encompass a wide spectrum of subjects such as retirement planning, wellness and wellbeing, workplace technology, navigating through internal resources (eVA, Perceptive Content, and internal resources), fostering trust, career progression and much more. 

Our keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Hemchand Gossai, interim dean of the languages, arts and social sciences on the Annandale Campus. Dr. Gossai is known to excel at inspiring the best in others with his philosophical views and values. 

In the spirit of giving back, we are once again calling upon participants to contribute to restocking NOVA’s Nighthawk Nest Food Pantries. If you would like to donate, consider:

• Ready-made/microwave/add water meals, soups, cereal, oatmeal, granola/protein bars, snacks 
• Personal care items: soap, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine products, baby diapers/wipes
