Introducing Nitro Pro PDF – NOVA’s New PDF Application Solution

Due to licensing changes, the College no longer offers Adobe Acrobat Pro as a standard application. We anticipate all existing Adobe Acrobat Pro access will no longer be available within the next few weeks.

The College now offers Nitro PDF Pro as our standard PDF management solution. Nitro PDF Pro is a multi-feature PDF tool that allows you to edit, convert, sign, annotate, OCR, secure, and protect your documents.

If you were a previous user of Adobe Acrobat Pro, you have been automatically assigned a license for Nitro PDF Pro and it is available on your NVCC computer. 

If you were not a previous user of Adobe Acrobat Pro and you have a legitimate business need, you must complete and submit a request to have Nitro PDF Pro installed on your NVCC computer. You will need to provide a justification and detail why you require the software. Once you submit your request, it will first be routed to your Manager and then to their Manager for approval before it will be routed to IT Leadership for final approval. You will receive an email notification when it is approved and a separate email from the software vendor once it is available.
