NOVA Professor Curates Show of Fantasy Art in October

Erica Hughes, of the Manassas Art History Department, has been selected to curate a show highlighting local artists’ interpretations of the fantastic. Curses! Foiled Again! The Art of Swords and Sorcery opens October 6 at the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Ave., Alexandria Va. Entry to the gallery is always free. Sneak preview for NOVA students, staff and faculty is Thursday, October 5 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The Opening Night Reception is October 6 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. It is a costume party and meet-and-greet with the artists.
