New IT Support Portal Now Open

As part of our release of the IT Support Portal, services.nvcc.edu, the IT Help Desk has transitioned to a new process for creating help desk tickets and interacting with clients to improve communications and the overall user experience. Clients can now create and monitor tickets, view the service catalog and knowledgebase and stay up to date on current and planned outages, all from the IT Support Portal. 

As a result of this service improvement, after tickets are created via the portal, notifications will come from TeamDynamix@nvcc.edu. Responses to a given ticket notification can be processed via this address, but we encourage clients to use the portal to manage correspondence with tickets as a best practice. 

Please note that emails sent directly to TeamDynamix@nvcc.edu in an attempt to generate a new support ticket will not work. In addition, the voicemail greeting at the Help Desk hotline will inform clients to navigate to services.nvcc.edu to submit a support ticket. 

The legacy ithelpdesk@nvcc.edu email monitor no longer automatically create tickets and will return an automated response directing clients to the new support portal.  

As a reminder, clients who need to submit a ticket can do so at services.nvcc.edu or by calling the IT Help Desk at 703-426-4141 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
