Major Canvas Apps To Be Discontinued in 2024

Some vendors and publishers will be replacing their Canvas-integrated apps with newer versions by the end of 2023. Instructors who wish to continue using these apps will need to switch to the new versions for the spring 2024 semester or their app will not work when the new semester begins. 

To ensure ample time to make the switch, we encourage faculty members to reach out to vendor support for guidance as soon as possible after courses are created on October 16, 2023, but well in advance of the spring semester’s January 16, 2024 start date. Canvas Help does not have the administrative access required to support publisher platforms but, when possible, provides links to resources and contact information for vendors.
