Prof. Chvonne Parker on Enhancing Hybrid/Online Courses with Video, Today at Noon
As part of our ongoing support for NOVA faculty teaching hybrid and online courses, NOVA Online offers a series of Collegewide webinars featuring amazing faculty colleagues who share best practices for student success. Professor Chvonne Parker will lead a webinar today from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
If you’ve ever faced challenges explaining complex topics, sought practical solutions for content delivery, aimed to elevate your instructor presence or looked for effective ways to manage your time while facilitating hybrid or online courses, this webinar is for you! Professor Parker is an associate professor of English at NOVA’s Annandale Campus, where she teaches first-year writing and technical and professional writing in hybrid, online and in-person modalities. Professor Parker also serves as the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Campus Lead and the Dual Enrollment Liaison for Fairfax County Public Schools. In Spring 2023, she received a recognition award from the Teaching Faculty Reward and Recognition Program.
