Career Development for Students at Fall 2023 Career Fairs, Nov 1 and Nov. 8
NOVA Business Engagement and Career Services is excited to continue bringing opportunities for students to engage with area businesses. Starting this week, students can participate in our Fall 2023 Career Fairs to meet and talk with regional employers! The Fall 2023 Career Fairs, a pair of large-scale, general fairs, will be attended by more than 35 employers at each campus. Students can log onto Career Connection and navigate to the fairs under the “Events” tab to learn more.

Additional Resources for the Fair
In preparation for the fairs, our counseling team has hosted a series of workshops, both virtual and in-person, covering tips and tricks for preparing to meet with the attending employers. The last of these workshops happens today, Tuesday, October 31 — so don’t miss it!
Prepare for the Fair in-person workshop: Annandale Campus (CA-302), 3 – 4 p.m.
In addition to the fairs, one of the attending employers, Amentum, will host a series of information sessions on security clearances. Each session will include a short presentation by an Amentum program manager followed by time for Q&A. Some of the topics to be covered are:
- What is a security clearance?
- Types of security clearances
- Security clearance process
