Next Healing Circle, Nov. 3 at Noon (Updated Schedule)
Did you know that NOVA is a Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center? We are part of a network of institutions committed to relationship-building across diverse people groups. One tool TRHT Campus Centers have found helpful is the Healing Circle. Healing Circles are small groups of people coming together in a facilitated space to get to know one another through a series of prompts and discussions. The goal is to find connection with one another based on our common humanity. These sorts of connections take time, and Healing Circles offer a way to invest time in connecting with others. Facilitators are trained NOVA colleagues who believe in the power of this process and are committed to helping NOVA find unity in our diversity.
This fall, we are offering several Healing Circles for NOVA faculty and staff. Participation is entirely voluntary. We encourage employees to talk with their supervisors about taking the time to participate when possible. Please note the Healing Circle scheduled for Nov. 2 has been moved to Nov. 9.
