NOVA SkillsUSA Kickoff Event Today, Nov. 2!

Do you have students who are interested in SkillsUSA? If yes, there’s a kickoff event this afternoon at 4 p.m. on the Annandale Campus (CA-321)!

SkillsUSA is a NOVA club for students across many programs of study. From computer programming to CPR/First Aid, more than 100 competitive events are offered. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry professionals, all working together to ensure that students are prepared for jobs and careers. SkillsUSA helps each student excel, providing opportunities for students to practice their skills, compete and prepare to enter the workforce.

In 2023, NOVA students won 22 SkillsUSA medals at the national and state level, including a national championship in the Internet of Things category!
