Upcoming webinars will share tips to increase your value in the workplace, cut expenses, boost savings and reduce debt. Please join VACU throughout the year for live 30-minute sessions. The next session  is “Balancing Your Holiday Spending” — today, Nov 8, from 12 p.m. until 12:30 p.m. Register Now!
  • Employee Discounts. Get your discounted tickets now! The Washington Commanders want to celebrate Virginia State Employee Day at FedExField against the New York Giants on Sunday, November 19. Bring friends, family and colleagues to enjoy a fun-filled day at the stadium. For every ticket sold to employees, $5 will be donated back to the 2023 Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC)!
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP). All health plans offered to state employees and their dependents have employee assistance programs (EAPs). Included are up to four free sessions for services including mental health, alcohol or drug abuse assessment, child or elder care, financial education, grief counseling, and legal services such as estate planning.
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. State employees may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Keep reading to see whether you might qualify. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your direct loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full time for a qualifying employer.
