After two successful Universal Design for Learning sessions, Accommodations and Accessibility Services is pleased to wrap up our series with two sessions focused on math learning — one for students and one for faculty/staff. Please share this information with your students and register to join us for either session, or both! You do not need to be a math professor to gain useful information!

Connect with a national expert on math learning to reshape your attitudes and experiences with math. Gain new strategies and techniques to assist you in class, on homework, and during tests.

 

Faculty/Staff SessionUniversal Design for Learning and Inclusive Teaching Practices in Math
Thursday, November 16, from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. 
Annandale Campus (CM-114), Loudoun Campus (LR-262) or via Zoom (click the session title to join)

Learn tips for helping students succeed in math in their first or second semester. Gain information about math disabilities and their impacts in the classroom while learning instructional strategies for teaching math to all students. This session is for anyone who teaches in an area that utilizes math and for anyone who wants to learn more about inclusive instruction as a means of increasing student success.
