Post Columnist Courtland Milloy Published Column After Visit to AL Campus
In a captivating convergence of journalistic legacy and contemporary discourse, the Alexandria Campus recently hosted Courtland Milloy, esteemed Washington Post columnist and a relative of the late Dr. Joe Windham, a beloved professor who taught history for many years on NOVA’s Alexandria Campus prior to his death in December 2014.
Milloy is a seasoned storyteller, and the air was charged with anticipation as students, faculty, staff and community members gathered to hear him speak. He offered a unique perspective on the ever-evolving landscape of culture, education and race relations. Milloy’s presence on NOVA’s campus served as a bridge between the storied past and today’s pressing issues. He introduced a variety of topics for discussion with the audience and took questions.
See the Washington Post column he published following his visit. The piece eloquently captures the voices of our students and the college community.
