Warm Winter Break Wishes from Your College Senate Chair

Hello, everyone, as your friendly neighborhood College Senate Chair, I want to thank you for all your hard work this semester. I appreciate everything you do for our students and for each other.  

Please know that I am here if you need anything or have any questions. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll ask around until I find it. 

The College Senate meets on the third Thursday of every month, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Our next meeting is Thursday, January 18, 2024. We meet in person on the Annandale Campus (CH-321) and virtually via Zoom. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, though only senators, committee chairs and invited guests are allowed to speak. We’re happy to help you learn how to become a senator!

All campuses have a forum council, as does the college staff; the councils generally meet monthly. You can check in on what the senate is doing by visiting our NOVAnet page. Recordings of our meetings and all relevant information can be found there.
