Let’s Go, NOVA Esports! Meet Our Coaches

Our Esports program is achieving significant milestones, both within and beyond the gaming community. As we gear up for the upcoming spring semester, we want to express our gratitude for your steadfast support. Our Esports college athletes are not only excelling in their competitive endeavors but also thoroughly enjoying their college experiences.

Among the Esports’ key accomplishments for Fall 2023:

  • Fall semester team GPA of 3.4.
  • Esports tryouts saw a 13% increase in participation, with 120 students trying out for the team!
  • Secured second place in the MAEC conference for Rocket League and Valorant.
  • Engaged in the MITRE Game X Military Simulation Tournament.
  • Actively participated in community engagement activities, volunteering at local organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs and NASCAR events.
  • The all-women’s Valorant Violet team reached the NECC division finals, securing second place in the NECC tournament.
  • Successfully hosted an alumni gathering.
