Revised (and Simpler) Color-Coded Closure System

It’s time to start thinking about the winter weather and everything that goes along with it–sloppy, slushy roads (meh)…or an avalanche of snow (Woot!). Late openings, early closings and snow days!

In preparation for inclement weather (possibly even this weekend and early next week), NOVA has a color-coded closure system. And, good news, it is simpler than before! Now there are just four easy colors.

When you arise to those welcome snowflakes, you can go to your phone, the NOVA website, our social media channels or any of the local TV or radio stations to check NOVA’s operating status. So get ready for the weather! Chuck Bell, Doug Kammerer and the Capital Weather Gang all say it’s gonna be a big one, folks. (I know, they say that every year, but we can hope….).
