Alert Your Students: SkillsUSA Info Meeting, Today at 3:30

Faculty and staff, please alert your students: NOVA’s SkillsUSA chapter will hold its next meeting today at 3:30 p.m. on the Annandale Campus (CA-321). During the meeting, students can meet our SkillsUSA officers and sign up for the competition that aligns with their program of study. Want to learn more about SkillsUSA before then? SkillsUSA is a student leadership organization for career and technical education. It provides opportunities at the local, state and national levels for students to practice their skills, compete and prepare to enter the skilled workforce. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, instructors and industry professionals that helps students excel in their chosen fields by offering educational programs, events and competitions to support career and technical education. Participation improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of SkillsUSA Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.
