Recordings Now Available for Spring Convening and PUP
On behalf of the Office of Academic Affairs, I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who participated in the recent Spring Faculty Convening and Power Up Your Pedagogy (PUP) Conference. Your active engagement and enthusiasm contributed to the success of both events, making them truly enriching experiences for our NOVA community.
The Spring Faculty Convening on January 8 provided an excellent opportunity for us to come together, learn about the exciting developments at the College and gain valuable insights from Scott Van Pelt, co-author of The Great Upheaval: Higher Education’s Past, Present, and Uncertain Future. Van Pelt encouraged NOVA faculty and staff to re-examine how we think about higher education and our role in the knowledge economy.
Additionally, the PUP Conference brought together faculty and challenged us to explore innovative teaching methods and advancements in pedagogical practices. The plenary and concurrent sessions were a testament to the dedication of our faculty to continuous improvement in delivering high-quality education.
For those who were unable to attend or wish to revisit the valuable content, we are pleased to announce that recordings of both events are now available. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to review the sessions, catch up on any missed content or revisit key insights.
The recordings are now available on NOVAnet. To access this internal site, you must be logged into your NOVA account.
Thank you once again for your commitment to excellence in education and your active participation in these events. Your dedication is what makes NOVA a vibrant and supportive academic community.
