Honors Program Has New Leadership

January 29, 2024 / Faculty/Staff Highlights

Did you know that NOVA has an Honors program? This is an opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills, think independently and critically, and stimulate their mind through rigorous Honors courses. Students can conduct research; study a subject in greater depth and explore ideas across disciplines; and build their professional networks by presenting at Honors symposia and conferences, participating in field trips and service projects, and engaging in internships. There is an Honors program liaison on each campus.

Dr. Jeanette Nicewinter is serving as the Collegewide Honors Lead Faculty for the semester and is being supported by Abbey Jones.
