Nighthawk Creative Writer’s Nest Kicking Off Spring 2024 on Feb. 22

Following a solid start in Fall 2023, the Nighthawk Creative Writer’s Nest student club is inviting students from all disciplines to join so we can work on writing across the curriculum. This peer-reviewed creative writing group helps improve members’ writing by providing constructive critique and support — without the stress of grades. The Writer’s Nest is an effort to promote the power and potential of the written word.

The Writer’s Nest will meet online and in person at least once a month, as student schedules allow. Additionally, the club hopes to use its platform to bring LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC voices to the forefront of the narrative. Decolonizing creative writing spaces is an important endeavor in making sure that all students at NOVA feel seen.
