Nominate a Nighthawk for NOVA’s Annual SEAL Awards by Feb. 11

Each spring, the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement hosts the SEAL Awards to honor our soaring Nighthawks for their excellence and resilience spanning the areas of service, engagement, academics and leadership. Students may be known to demonstrate these notable behaviors formally or informally, on campus or out in their community, and they may be known by many or only a few.

Please reflect on the meaningful stories and triumphs of our Nighthawks and submit your nominations using the ‘23–’24 SEAL Award Nomination Form.

Important notes for the nomination process are listed below:

1. Log in using your NOVA credentials to access the nomination form.
2. Be sure you have the nominee’s correct email address (EMPLID not required).
3. When completing the narrative portion of the form, do NOT include the nominee’s name in your wording. Please use pronouns only for the narrative portion.
4. Submissions are due by Sunday, February 11.
5. Nominations will be reviewed and scored by a diverse, cross-College committee.
