Fifteen Students Join Great Falls Hike

Professors Indigo Eriksen (WO) and Karen Murph (AN) led a delightful hike in Great Falls this past Saturday, February 10. A total of 15 students joined the 11-mile walk along the C&O Trail for the first spring hike for NOVA’s Walk in the Woods program, created by Professor Eriksen. Applications for upcoming backpacking trips will open soon. Backpacking combines hiking and camping; in other words, you carry everything you need to survive, eat and sleep outdoors with you. Stay tuned for more information about these free backpacking trips!
