Food for Thought: Join “Supporting Students with Disabilities,” Feb. 21

February 15, 2024 / Events

If you want to learn more about supporting students with disabilities, let us support you as you support them! Join us for an enlightening session on “Supporting Students with Disabilities” at our Food for Thought event designed exclusively for faculty at NOVA. In this one-hour webinar, Dr. Sarah Sweetman, associate professor and accommodations and accessibility counselor at NOVA’s Loudoun Campus, will lead us in understanding how accommodations work, including what is required of faculty, what to expect from students and the resources available for you to make learning at NOVA as inclusive as possible. Come share your experiences, ask tough questions and help us cultivate an atmosphere of inclusivity and empowerment for every student to succeed at NOVA.

This free webinar will be on Wednesday, February 21, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. and will be recorded. Register here.
