Volunteer to Review Scholarship Applications!

Would you like to be part of the team that selects scholarship recipients at NOVA? If so, NOVA’s Financial Aid Office could use your help! We are currently seeking volunteers to review scholarship applications for the 2024–25 academic year. To participate in the March 2024 review period, please email NOVA Scholarship Coordinator Darryl Shell at DShell@nvcc.edu by Wednesday, February 28, to express your interest. You may also email Darryl if you are interested in participating in the other two scholarship review periods that will take place later this year (in June and October). 

The number of scholarship applications reviewed by each volunteer may vary, but the expectation is that each volunteer will review approximately 50 or fewer applications. A review of each scholarship application should take no more than five minutes to complete. Training will be provided via a video tutorial, and you can always contact Darryl with any questions. We hope you consider participating!
