CATE Series on ChatGPT, Tonight at 6

February 21, 2024 / Tech Notes & Training

CATE will continue its Community of Practice series on ChatGPT and other generative AI tools, as they are now a part of the teaching and learning process. Facilitated by Hector Revollo, this series is held the third Wednesday of each month. Our next meeting is this evening, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

During this session, we will explore how AI can be used to assess learning. This will involve understanding how AI can provide personalized feedback, track learning progress and offer insights into student understanding. Additionally, we will review the AI courses provided to NOVA faculty and staff through ACUE. Each meeting will discuss the outcomes of individual work on a shared-tool approach, or AI-based technology, examining our failures and successes. Faculty new to this community are most welcome.

You can find information on how to join the session on our page on the NOVAnet site. For questions, please email Barbara Crain at BCrain@nvcc.edu.
