Gilman Int’l Study Abroad Application Closes March 7
Did you know that only 2% of community college students study abroad? NOVA is looking to change that!
NOVA Study Abroad is up and running! This summer, NOVA will be running three study abroad programs for students:
- Film Studies in the Czech Republic
- International Business in South Korea
- Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking in Scotland
Students also have the option to participate in a study abroad program with an independent/outside organization. (Please note: NOVA does not endorse or make recommendations regarding independent/outside organizations.)
Significant scholarships are available to students, including the Gilman Scholarship, the Gilman-McCain Scholarship (for child dependents and spouses of active/activated military) and the Critical Need Language Scholarship. This past scholarship cycle, four NOVA students were awarded the Gilman Scholarship, and one was further awarded the Critical Need Language Scholarship!
The Gilman Scholarship application is open for this cycle until Thursday, March 7.
