The NOVA Fab Lab is recruiting for its next cohort of Design Thinking Fellows! This NSF-sponsored program is for faculty members interested in integrating design thinking into their instruction. Fellows selected for the program will receive a $3,000 stipend in the form of a supplemental work assignment (SWA). Faculty from all campuses and disciplines are encouraged to apply here!

Northern Virginia Community College is recruiting for their third cohort of Design Thinking Fellows! This final chapter of our National Science Foundation (NSF)–sponsored program is exclusively for NOVA faculty interested in learning about and implementing design thinking into their curriculum. 

Complex problems requires innovative and creative solutions. Design thinking is the key to challenge assumptions and approach problem solving in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and non-linear way.

Fellows will:
- Complete two days of design thinking workshops (March 11 and April 2 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm)
- Observe experts teaching a two-hour design thinking workshop (April 12 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm)
- Teach a design thinking workshop (May 23 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm)
- Provide design thinking mentorship to NOVA students (May 31, June 7, & June 14 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm)
- Create and implement a design thinking exercise
