Field Trip to VT for NOVA Engineering Transfer Students, March 17

March 8, 2024 / Our Nighthawks

NOVA has arranged a field trip to Virginia Tech (VT) for engineering transfer students on Sunday, March 17. An early-morning charter bus will pick up NOVA students from the Annandale Campus at 3:40 a.m. and then from the Manassas Campus at 4:15 a.m.

The visit to VT will include a transfer admissions information session, a College of Engineering session and a campus tour. Students will also have the opportunity to attend various sessions on financial aid, scholarships and more. In addition, students will be able to attend the majors fair, where they can learn more about individual VT College of Engineering majors and speak with faculty and students (and grab some cool swag). After a day of informative fun at VT, students will return around 8 p.m.

Students are responsible for completing forms ahead of time, providing their own meals during the trip and adhering to NOVA’s Student Code of Conduct. Priority will be given to students who have applied for transfer this year or are members of the VT Engineering Transfer Club. Those interested can sign up here. We will confirm with each student through their VCCS email.
