March 25, 2024 / Events

Our military, a powerful yet complex organization, comprises men and women sworn to defend our nation. Unfortunately, however, some of those men and women are not always on the right side of the law.

In 2012, there were 500 reported cases of theft, loss or compromise of classified military information. In 2016, the Department of Defense estimated that 32% of service members experienced cybercrime, with fraud being the most common offense. (See additional stats here.

ADJ-163 is excited to invite you to a captivating presentation that will explore criminal investigations in the military. This fascinating discussion will be led by Master Sergeant Brad Bianchi, chief investigator at the Provost Marshal’s Office, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ.

This engaging session will unveil some of the techniques employed by military criminal investigators in crime analysis and the distinct challenges faced during military criminal investigations. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to learn about the application of crime analysis in cracking cases and gain firsthand insights into the career life of a military investigator directly from Master Sergeant Bianchi.

This presentation is a must-attend for criminal justice students and anyone intrigued by the confluence of law enforcement and military operations. Don’t miss this exclusive chance to enrich your understanding and appreciation of the complex world of military criminal investigations.
