Financial Aid Course Audit (FACA) Schedule
Have you heard about the Financial Aid Course Audit (FACA)? This process runs within the PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS) that flags when students who have applied for financial aid register for courses that are ineligible for financial aid.
Students receive a message in their SIS Message Center when they register for courses that are not eligible for financial aid. These include courses that are not required for their program of study. The message encourages students to run their advisement report and, if necessary, to meet with an advisor to determine the required coursework for their program and enroll. Students are informed they must make other payment arrangements if they choose to remain enrolled in ineligible courses.
The FACA process is set up to run for the current and upcoming semester based on the schedule outlined below. After students are awarded aid for summer 2024, the frequency of FACA process runs may increase, but it will at least run according to the schedule below.
Current FACA Schedule:
- Mondays through Fridays at 6 p.m. for Spring 2024
- Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. for Summer 2024
The FACA schedule will change as early as April 1 when the Financial Aid Office begins packaging aid for Summer 2024.
- Mondays through Fridays at 6 p.m. for Summer 2024
- Saturdays & Sundays at 1 p.m. for Spring 2024
