Volunteers Needed for PSC and ISSC

The Instructional and Student Services Committee (ISSC) and Personnel Services Committee (PSC) are seeking volunteers for the 2024–25 academic year. If you are interested in serving AND you meet the campus/position requirements listed below, please complete the volunteer form. If you are interested in serving but your campus/position classification is NOT listed, please still complete the volunteer form as vacancies occasionally occur during the year.

Personnel Services Committee
The PSC counsels and advises working groups and the larger College community. The committee makes recommendations on matters pertaining to the welfare of the faculty (both instructional and administrative) and classified staff of the College. The committee studies, gathers information, conducts discussions and otherwise surveys the environment relating to this charge. In addition, the committee discharges other duties as delegated by the College. The committee is also responsible for recommending candidates for the President’s Sabbatical Award as well as candidates for the honor of Classified Emeritus to the president.

Instructional and Student Services Committee
The ISSC receives proposals from the College Senate, campus councils, working groups and overall College community. It makes recommendations pertaining to the quality of education at the College as well as student life and wellbeing. The committee studies, gathers information, conducts discussions, and surveys the intellectual and/or student environment, academic standards, and teaching and learning conditions at the College.

  • Annandale Campus: Classified Staff
  • Medical Education Campus: Teaching or Professional Faculty; Classified Staff
  • Woodbridge Campus: Classified Staff

Vacancies on ISSC:

  • College Staff: Teaching or Professional Faculty
  • Alexandria Campus: Administrative Faculty
  • Manassas Campus: Administrative Faculty
  • Medical Education Campus: Teaching or Professional Faculty (2 seats available); Administrative Faculty
