Flyer: Walker Wisdom Day 1: Gear Up. Four bullets: Make sure your shoes fit well and provide proper support for your feet. When going for a walk, consider wearing clothes that are loose and comfortable. Check the weather to dress properly. Bring a light jacket if the weather will be on the cooler side. Wearing layers ensures that you are prepared regardless of the temperature. The right clothes and shoes can also fit your individual style. Wearing workout clothes you like can be a great motivator.
