Spring 2024 STEM Transfer Day at GMU, April 12

Registration is open for George Mason University’s Spring 2024 STEM Transfer Day, to be held Friday, April 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is designed for prospective community college transfer students who are exploring STEM-H transfer institutions, as well as for students who have selected Mason as their STEM transfer destination. Transfer pathways leading to undergraduate and accelerated master’s programs in Mason’s College of Science, College of Engineering and Computing, and College of Public Health will be represented at this event.   

Mason’s STEM Transfer Day offers a unique opportunity for prospective STEM-H transfer students to:

  • Explore Mason’s campus, including its Carnegie Research 1–ranked labs and facilities.
  • Investigate Mason’s STEM-H academic programs and transfer pathways.
  • Discover Mason’s robust career preparation, including research and internship options.
  • Engage in roundtable sessions with award-winning STEM faculty.
  • Learn from Mason STEM transfers about their experiences. 

STEM Transfer Day is open to all community college students, but space is limited. Free on-campus parking and lunch will be provided to all attendees. A limited number of slots have been reserved for community college counselors and advisors who would like to learn more about Mason’s STEM-H offerings and resources.
