According to the Center 4 Research, music can lead to feelings of pleasure, change thought processes, and cause changes in behavior. A 2012 study showed that participants who listened to music they deemed “pleasing” had higher levels of serotonin, known as the “feel-good” hormone, which can put them in a better mood for their walks.
The OEWW has curated a high-energy playlist to get you going on your walk.
- Spotify
- Apple
- There is also a playlist that is perfect for stretching, meditation and cool down from our wellness partners at Norfolk State University.
