“Relearn to Relax & Recharge” Workshop, Tomorrow at Loudoun!

April 16, 2024 / Get Well

The Loudoun Coalition of Wellness invites all NOVA faculty and staff to an interactive workshop led by VCCS CommonHealth Wellness Consultant Supervisor Amy Moore tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on meditation and mindfulness practices, with discussion on the mental and physical benefits of both. The session will also cover tips for taking meaningful rest breaks — both at work and at home — and conclude with a group relaxation exercise. This workshop is for everyone: beginners and those who simply need a refresher!

The workshop will be held in the HEC event space (HEC-203) on the Loudoun Campus. Please wear comfortable clothing. The registration deadline has been extended through today, and you can register here!

If you have questions about this event or want to learn about the Loudoun Coalition of Wellness, please contact Committee Chair Kimberly T. Wright at KTWright@nvcc.edu.

We look forward to recharging together — because wellness matters.
