NOVA Police Conduct Yearly AVI Training at Manassas Campus

This year’s annual active violence incident (AVI) training was conducted at NOVA’s Manassas Campus on Sunday, April 14. During the training, dispatchers handled calls for service related to AVI and officers practiced their response to AVI. Department members also set up an incident command and practiced administering emergency first aid.

NOVA Police would like to thank Manassas Campus Provost Dr. Molly Lynch for hosting and attending, as well as the NOVA community members whose assistance as role players helped add realism to the training.
