Teaching Faculty Needed for Curriculum, Budget Advisory Committees

This spring has seen plenty of requests for faculty and staff to join various committees, councils and task forces here at the College. I know it’s a lot. At the same time, this kind of participation is exactly what shared governance is all about!  

After my last call, I didn’t receive any self-nominations for two very important College Standing Committees:

• We need two teaching faculty members for the Budget Advisory Committee, and you can nominate yourself using THIS Google Form.
• We need nine teaching faculty members for the Curriculum Committee, and you can nominate yourself using THIS Google Form.

Please jump in! If you ever wonder why things happen at the College — or if you’re happy about (or frustrated with) those things — getting involved is the best way to have your voice heard. In addition, we can also express our care and concern for each other by working in these various capacities.
